SPORT DESCRIPTION:  The Narcotics Dog event uses narcotics hidden from view. The team competes in Vehicle Search (outside of vehicle only), Cargo Search and Locker Search. Each competitor shall receive an overview of the exercises at least ten days prior to the competition. Competition is open to dogs on regularly scheduled duty with a law enforcement organization of any unit of government. The handler must be a member of the same law enforcement organization and working in that capacity. Competitors must wear Department uniforms, minus sidearm.
